Another Revision
This time for my blog review I didn’t receive any feedback
from anyone. But even though I got no feedback I still used my previous experience
of receiving feedback in order to rewrite my one of my blog posts. With that
said I did get a chance at giving feedback to two other people that are from my
course which also helped me review my own blog.
I have also read an article of sorts and two other pages
about writing a paper: revision and the academic phrasebank. They were useful
to help me rewrite my old blog post.
Academic Phrasebank is a general resource for academic
writers. It aims to provide you with examples of some of the 'nuts and bolts'
of writing. The phrases can be used simply to assist you in thinking about the
content and organisation of your own writing.
What I learned from rewriting it is how different it was
from my current blogs. I haven’t included much of my personal opinion at all,
and I most definitely didn’t cite my sources well enough. But I have learned
from my mistakes, and I will continue improving my writing skills as I go
along.
